INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR CHRISTMAS LIGHTS INSTALLATION

Yazoo County Convention & Visitors Bureau is soliciting bids from qualified contractors wishing to provide Yazoo County CVB with labor, equipment, and project management needed for the installation of Christmas lights on 40+ buildings in Yazoo City during the month of October 2021. Any bids submitted in response to this invitation may be emailed to [email protected], faxed 662-746-1816, mailed to Yazoo County CVB, P.O. Box 186, Yazoo City, MS 39194 or dropped off no later than August 30, 2021. The right to accept or reject any and all bids is reserved.

Backstory:

Lights have been previously purchased by property owners and are currently housed in storage. They will need to be tested before attaching them to buildings to see if they work. Lights will be attached to buildings in the Yazoo City area, you will be provided with a list of 40 plus buildings but not more than 75.

Contractor Responsibilities.

Services Provided. Contractor agrees to complete the following services:

• Labor – Including employees, subcontractors and any other individuals or agents.

• Materials – Including all supplies and products.

• Equipment – Including machinery, accessories, or devices.

• Travel – Including all travel.

• Start Date. The Contractor shall be permitted to begin the Services on September 21, 2021.

Completion. The contractor will be required, unless otherwise stated under the terms of this Agreement, to complete the Services:

By November 1, 2021.

Satisfaction of the completed Services by the Contractor shall be Completed on or before November 1, 2021 and Removed after January 4, 2022 but before February 5, 2022 “Satisfaction” shall be a determination, in good faith, made by the Contractor and in accordance with commonly accepted industry standards.

Overseer and Inspection of Services. Subcontractor shall make the Services accessible at all reasonable times for inspection by the overseer of the project, if there are any issues please direct them to the assigned overseer and they will refer them to the Board of Directors of the Yazoo County CVB.
